Michael serves as the President here at Messing Roofing. Michael has been with the company since he first began working with his dad years ago. He continues to work with the same passion and commitment to excellence by working diligently to stay ahead of ongoing developments in the roofing and construction industry. Outside of work, Michael enjoys the outdoors, home improvement, and spending time with his wife and three children
Alan has been with Messing Roofing for 23 years as our inside sales representative. His roles include communicating with customers while scheduling appointments properly for our residential and commercial estimators. Alan is proud that Messing works together to provide renovations to homeowners that last for years. Outside of work, he is passionate about his Christian faith and anything and everything guitars and music as a hobby. Alan has been a dedicated member to the Messing family.
Sarah serves as our Office Coordinator. Her roles include transitioning sold contracts to production and processing final invoices and payments. Her favorite part about working at Messing is her coworkers! Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending her time reading books and following a good TV series. She also enjoys running, kayaking, and spending time with her friends. She’s been investing a lot of time maintaining and creating fish tanks and paludariums! She has two dogs, Nyla and Zoey, that just so happen to be sisters from the same litter! They are her greatest joy at home.
Clark serves as our accountant. He’s responsible for managing all financial transactions and ensuring bills are paid in a timely manner. His favorite thing about working at Messing is the family-friendly environment. Clark is a Peoria native and graduated from Bradley University in 1999 with a BS in Accounting, he’s a Licensed Certified Public Accountant. Clark is a lifelong fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Fighting Illini.
Jeff serves as a residential estimator and inspector. His favorite thing about working at Messing is the team! Jeff is a University of Iowa graduate and continues to “root on” the Hawkeyes. Jeff loves to hunt and fish. He continues to reel in those monster muskies!
Jeff serves as a residential superintendent overseeing residential projects from beginning to completion. Jeff grew up in the roofing industry because his dad owned a roofing company for over 40 years. His favorite thing about working at Messing is the family environment. Jeff has been married to his wife, Lori Ann, for 33 years. They are nana and papa to their seven grandchildren with number 8 on the way! He enjoys traveling with his wife in their free time. He attends Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria where he serves on the Missions Council.
Brent serves as our Commercial Roofing Estimator. His roles include cost estimating and commercial roofing project management. His favorite thing about working at Messing is the company itself and the people he works with! Brent says, “they care about the work we do and treating the customers well.” Brent is originally from the Minneapolis, MN, area and moved down to Peoria to attend Bradley University with his twin brother, Nathan. They both played baseball at Bradley. He met his wife, Morgan, while attending Bradley and they were married the summer after graduating. They now reside in Bloomington-Normal, and have two children, Owen and Lucy.
Hunter serves as our Construction Superintendent. With over a decade of experience in the commercial roofing industry he oversees projects from conception to completion. His favorite thing about the Messing family is the dedicated team of fantastic people that continue to grow and evolve. He grew up in Iowa and spent many summers developing a hard work ethic on the farm. He enjoys the outdoors, fishing, and taking his pup Nala on adventures.
John is a residential estimator with many years of residential construction experience. John enjoys meeting with homeowners to offer a sound solution to their roofing needs. John enjoys hunting and fishing when he’s not working.
