Messing (and Brent as the project estimator and contact) did a great job. The job was for an almost completely flat rubber (EPDM) roof. Finding a contractor with experience in that style and that also worked with residential roofing, as well as having experience working with insurance adjusters and claims departments was all beneficial. The job itself was pretty massive, with taking the old roofing off and maintaining the integrity of the wood decking beneath, as the house doesn't have an attic. There are also several skylights, a chimney, and all the vents to work around. On top of this, since there is no attic, they also had to bring it up to code with adding insulation, creating the need to add framing to house insulation, then another layer of decking to cover it, and then finally all the work with the actual roofing material - which is rolled asphalt.
The knowledge and work of Brent and the Messing crew was great (even when the house presented some challenges). They were quick to figure out alternatives, they communicated quickly, and they also responded to any requests and questions.
They were and have been quick to respond to minor issues. The crew was also really friendly to the entire family - lots of interested children with lots of questions and a desire to see all the work being done with all the really great tools and ladders. Home sustained some wind damage overnight.  Called Messing Roofing on a Friday morning and by early afternoon a crew of two was out and made the necessary repairs. Jeff and Jeff delivered a great project! I had a lot of small changes and concerns with my roof that needed addressed.  They made it all happen as promised.  Crew did a great job. Fast and results are great.  And the clean up is really hard to believe. Not a trace of the project was left in my yard.  Choosing a contractor was nerve wracking.  Glad I chose Messing.
